Circus Harmony shares the ring
In November 2009, CircEsteem traveled to St. Louis to share the ring with Circus Harmony. This historic trip brought two social circus power houses together for the first time. CircEsteem’s Executive Director Maribeth Joy traveled with 13 youth participants to St. Louis. Circus Harmony shared their performance ring at the City Museum and allowed CircEsteem to perform 3 shows on Friday. On Saturday, both groups collaborated and created a 30 minute show that they performed together. Highlights of the show included a CircEsteem created clown act, this being a first for Circus Harmony. Other highlights were an 8 person aerial act, a club juggling act and a mini trampoline act that had the kids flying through the air!
