CircEsteem celebrates its 13th year as Chicago’s premiere youth circus; we’ve had the honor of working with thousands of kids from all around Chicago, in addition to many refugee youth who are newcomers to the United States. CircEsteem’s mission of uniting youth from diverse racial, cultural, and economic backgrounds and helping them build self-esteem and mutual respect through the practice of circus arts is the guiding force behind this show.
CircEsteem’s A Space Odyssey is directed by Jamie Olah. Jamie is the founder of Firefly Storytelling and the co-founder of Grassroots Theatre Project where she served as Artistic Director. She is also a professionally trained red-nose clown.

CircEsteem’s A Space Odyssey promises to excite and delight audiences of all ages and is the perfect affordable outing for those seeking a fun springtime activity for families, schools, groups and friends. Proceeds benefit CircEsteem’s free afterschool tutoring program HomeWork & CircusWork.
