Spring Show 2025

Prepare to not only embrace change but be surrounded by it in CircEsteem’s annual spring show! This whimsical and imaginative immersive experience – conceived and crafted completely by our CYC youth, Performance Troupe, and teaching artists – explores the constant transformations and evolutions of our lives, planet, and present world that define who we are. From breathtaking aerial silk displays to jaw-dropping partner acrobatics, “Breaking the Mold” is more than just a circus show but rather an enchanting and multidimensional experience that not only embraces change as an inextricable and exquisite element of life but celebrates it in all its forms.

Through ten mesmerizing scenes, CYC youth and Performance Troupe reimagine and creatively visualize all the ways they see change in the world through the performance of circus arts. Watch in amazement as storytelling unicyclists visualize humankind’s transformation from their aquatic ancestors to their quest of building the wheel. Prepare to be mesmerized by stunning silk artists as they evolve from cocoons to butterflies in front of your very eyes. Feel the real-time effects of changing temperatures as juggling juggernauts shift us from winter to summer. Come join us in exploring all of the wonders and possibilities of change in “Breaking the Mold,” held in our renovated Uptown facility!
