Programming for Schools

Bringing the joy of circus to schools, groups, and community events across Chicago and beyond.

Since 2001, CircEsteem has been dedicated to building self-esteem and strong communities through the circus arts. Our outreach programs offer dynamic, engaging opportunities for youth of all ages to learn balance, resilience, teamwork, and confidence—through juggling, clowning, acrobatics, and more!

In-School Residencies

After-School Activities (ASA's)

Empowering Youth Through Circus Education

CircEsteem’s in-school and after-school programs bring circus arts directly to your students—teaching everything from juggling and tumbling to clowning and teamwork. These programs are designed to build students’ physical coordination and social-emotional skills, such as:

  • Confidence
  • Resilience
  • Effective communication
  • Teamwork

Each program culminates in a student-led performance, allowing participants to showcase their skills and celebrate their growth.

 

Program Details:
Duration: 6–15 weeks
Frequency: 1 hour per session (after-school), flexible for in-school
