Eric Emert Memorial Fund

Eric Emert was CircEsteem's first teaching artist, volunteer, and true community leader. He not only helped inspire a generation of youth through his commitment to CircEsteem's mission, but he (quite literally) built a lasting legacy. Many of the props, including stilts and rollo bollo, and CircEsteem signs were created by Eric and are still in use today. He also created the first and current CircEsteem logo.

Sadly, in 2015, Eric passed away. But Eric's memory will never be forgotten. In honor of Eric's spirit, volunteerism, and the impact he had on the youth of CircEsteem, Eric's family created the Eric Emert Memorial Fund. The fund provides financial aid so that youth, no matter their financial need, are able to participate in the Performance Troupe program, part of CircEsteem's Artistic Development and Performance portfolio of programs.

To date, the fund has raised more than $12,000 and supported 14 youth in receiving free or reduced tuition for Performance Troupe programming.

Your donation to the Eric Emert Memorial Fund celebrates the legacy that Eric left at CircEsteem and supports the development of the next generation of youth leadership, performance, and community.
